Privacy Policy

Effective 9 September 2026.

In short

We collect what we need to run a real-money fantasy sports service and meet the rules that come with it: who you are, where you are playing from, and what you do on the service. We do not sell your information for money. We do not collect your Social Security number, and we never receive your fingerprint or face data. You can ask us for your data, correct it, or have it deleted, and section 10 says how.

1. Who we are

iBET is operated by iBET Networks, LLC. This policy covers the iBET website and the iBET iOS and Android apps.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, date of birth, email address and phone number.
  • Postal address, when required for payments or verification.
  • Your username, password and account settings.
  • Anything you write to us in support chat or by email.

Information collected when you use the service

  • Location. We collect your device’s location when you deposit, enter a contest or withdraw, to confirm you are somewhere we are allowed to offer the service. This is a legal requirement and you cannot play without it.
  • Device and app information. Device model, operating system, app version, a device identifier, and identifiers used for push notifications.
  • Usage. Entries placed, contests joined, pages and screens viewed, and how you arrived at the app.
  • Transactions. Deposits, withdrawals, balances and the payment method used. We do not store your full card number.

Identity verification

To deposit above a threshold or to withdraw, you must verify your identity. That check is carried out by Persona, reached through our payments provider Coinflow. You provide a government-issued ID and a photograph directly to Persona. We receive the result of the check and a record that it was completed — we do not receive or store your ID document.

Things we do not collect

  • Your Social Security number. Our identity checks are document-based and we deliberately do not use the option that would require an SSN.
  • Biometric data. If you sign in with Face ID or a fingerprint, your phone performs that check and sends us only a token confirming it succeeded. Your face and fingerprint data never leave your device and are never transmitted to us.

3. Why we use it

  • To operate your account, run contests, and settle entries.
  • To take deposits and pay out withdrawals.
  • To verify your identity and age, and to confirm you are eligible to play where you are.
  • To detect fraud, abuse of promotions, multiple accounts and money laundering.
  • To answer support requests.
  • To send you service messages, and — if you have not opted out — promotional messages.
  • To understand how the service is used and improve it.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what each company needs to do its job. Every one of these is bound to use the information only for the purpose we engaged them for.

Company What they receive Why
Coinflow Name, contact details, payment details, transaction amounts Processes every deposit and withdrawal
Persona Government-issued ID, photograph, name, date of birth Verifies your identity
nSure Device and transaction signals Scores payments for fraud risk
OneSignal Push token, device identifier Delivers push notifications
AppsFlyer Device identifiers, install and referral data Tells us which link or referral brought you to the app
Twilio SendGrid Email address, message content Sends our email
Slack Support conversations Where our team reads and answers support messages
Anthropic Your support messages, and account details relevant to your question Powers the assistant that answers support chat
Google Analytics Website usage, device and approximate location Website analytics

We also disclose information where the law requires it, to regulators and law enforcement on a valid request, to our professional advisers, and to a buyer if the business is sold — in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.

5. The support assistant

Support chat is answered first by an automated assistant. To answer questions about your own account it can look up your balance, entries, deposits and withdrawals. It cannot see any other player’s account. If it cannot help, the conversation is passed to a person on our team. If you would rather not use it, email [email protected] and a person will answer.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and measure usage through Google Analytics. The app does not use advertising cookies.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws define “sale” and “sharing” broadly enough to include an analytics provider receiving information through cookies. If you would rather we did not share your information that way, email [email protected] and we will opt you out.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as your account is open.

After an account closes we keep transaction and account records for five years, because financial, tax and anti-money-laundering rules require us to be able to show what happened. Support conversations are kept for two years. Location records used for eligibility checks are kept for one year.

8. What deletion actually does

We want to be precise about this, because “delete” can mean different things.

When you delete your account, we remove the information that identifies you — your name, username, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, profile photograph, identity-verification data, push identifier, device identifier and referral code. We sign you out everywhere and cancel any Face ID or fingerprint sign-in you had set up.

We keep the financial ledger — the record that entries were placed and money moved — for the five years described above, with your identity removed from it. We also keep a one-line closure record containing a scrambled, one-way version of your email address, which lets us recognise a duplicate signup without holding your address.

After that period the remaining records are deleted.

9. Security

We protect your information with administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and we limit access to staff who need it. Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Two-factor authentication protects administrative access to our systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is never intercepted, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

10. Your rights

We give the following rights to every player, wherever you live, rather than only to residents of particular states. You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you, and where it came from.
  • Give you a copy in a portable format.
  • Correct anything inaccurate.
  • Delete your information, subject to the records we are legally required to keep (section 7).
  • Opt out of marketing messages, and of sharing as described in section 6.
  • Limit how we use sensitive information.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with what you want. We will confirm we have your request within 10 days and answer within 45 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why inside that period and take no more than a further 45 days.

We will ask you to confirm your identity before we act — usually by replying from the email address on the account. If we cannot verify it, we will explain why rather than simply refuse.

You can ask someone to make a request for you. We will ask for proof that you authorised them.

If we say no

We will tell you the reason. You can ask us to reconsider by replying, and we will respond within 45 days. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to your state Attorney General.

11. Age

iBET is for adults aged 18 and over. Registration is blocked for anyone whose date of birth shows they are under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we discover we have, we delete it and close the account.

12. Contact us

Email [email protected], or use the support chat in the app. You can also write to us at:

13. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
