Refund Policy
Effective 9 September 2026.
In short
An entry can be cancelled for a short time after you place it, and the deadline is shown on the entry itself. Your deposits stay yours — we don’t take balances, and money you can’t withdraw yet because verification is outstanding is still your money. Promotional credit isn’t cash and can’t be withdrawn. If you close your account with $20 or more on it, you have to withdraw it first.
1. Entries cannot be edited
Once you submit an entry it cannot be changed. If you want different picks, cancel the entry while you still can and place a new one.
2. Cancelling an entry yourself
You can cancel most entries for a short period after placing them. The Cancel Entry option appears on the entry, and the exact deadline is shown there — that time is the one that counts.
Two things end the window:
- Time. The window runs from the moment your entry is placed. It is currently five minutes.
- Any game starting. If a game involving any pick in your entry begins, the entry can no longer be cancelled, even if time remains on the window.
The window is measured on our servers from when the entry was recorded, not by your phone’s clock.
What happens when you cancel
- Your stake is returned the way it was paid: the cash portion to your cash balance, the promotional portion to your promotional balance.
- Any boost used on the entry is returned to you.
- If the entry held a seat in a peer-to-peer contest that has not yet closed, that seat is released.
- The entry shows as Refunded under Results.
A cancelled entry does not count against daily limits, so you can place a new entry immediately.
3. When we cancel an entry and refund you
Separately from your own cancellation, there are situations where we void an entry and return your stake. This can happen after your cancellation window has closed, and you do not need to do anything:
- A player does not play. If a pick is marked Did Not Play, that pick is void and the entry is refunded or re-graded according to the entry rules.
- Board or pricing errors. If a projection was posted in obvious error, we may void entries on it and return the stake.
- Ineligible picks. If a pick should not have been available to you, entries containing it are voided and refunded.
- Peer-to-peer contests that do not fill. See section 4.
Refunds of this kind go back to the balance the stake came from, on the same split between cash and promotional funds.
4. Peer-to-peer contests
In some states, entries must be matched against other players rather than against the house. Where that applies, a projection has to be selected by at least two different members for the entry to stand. If no other member takes the other side by the time the contest closes, your entry is voided and your stake returned in full.
The states where this applies are shown in the app and change as rules change. It currently applies in California.
5. Deposits
A deposit is not a purchase; it adds funds to your account balance, and those funds stay yours. We do not refund deposits back to your card or bank as a matter of course — if you no longer want the funds on your account, withdraw them.
If you believe a deposit was made without your permission, contact us at [email protected] before disputing it with your bank, so we can look into it quickly.
Chargebacks
If you reverse a deposit with your card issuer or bank, we may suspend your account while the dispute is resolved, hold any withdrawal, and recover the disputed amount from your balance. Repeated chargebacks may result in the account being closed.
6. Withdrawals and identity verification
Before we can send money out, we have to confirm who you are. This is a legal requirement, not a preference, and it applies to every account.
If you cannot complete verification, your money is still yours. We do not take it, and it does not expire because verification is outstanding. It stays on your account until verification is completed. If you are stuck, contact [email protected] and we will help you work through it.
7. Promotional credit
Promotional credit — bonus funds, no-sweat entries, and credits from offers and referrals — is not cash. It:
- cannot be withdrawn;
- can only be used to enter contests;
- may carry conditions and an expiry date, which are shown with the offer;
- is returned to your promotional balance if an entry it paid for is cancelled or voided; and
- is lost when the account is closed, by you or by us.
Winnings from entries paid for with promotional credit are cash and can be withdrawn, subject to the conditions of the offer.
8. Closing your account
You can close your account from the app. Before we can close it:
- any open entries must have settled;
- any withdrawal in progress must have completed; and
- if your cash balance is $20 or more, you must withdraw it first.
If less than $20 remains, you can choose to give it up rather than withdraw it, and we will ask you to confirm that before the account closes. Promotional credit is not withdrawable and is lost on closure.
Closing an account is permanent. We cannot reopen it, and you cannot recover a balance you chose to give up.
9. If we close or suspend an account
We may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse of promotions, multiple accounts, breach of the Terms of Service, or where the law requires it.
Where we close an account and there is no finding of fraud or abuse, we return the cash balance to you once identity verification is complete. Where an account is closed for fraud or abuse, we may withhold the balance and any winnings connected to it, and we will tell you why.
10. Inactive accounts
If your account has no activity for 12 months and holds a balance, we will email you at the address on the account and ask you to withdraw it or come back and play. We do not charge any fee on inactive accounts, and we do not take dormant balances. If we cannot reach you, we hold the funds and handle them as unclaimed property law requires.
11. Errors
If a settlement, payout or balance is wrong, we correct it — in either direction — and tell you what changed. If you think something has been graded or paid incorrectly, contact us within 30 days and we will look at it.
12. Contact us
Email [email protected], or use the support chat in the app. We aim to answer within one business day.
